About Active Life & Sports Fitness Center

Personalized Rehabilitation, Wellness, and Fitness

Our center was developed to provide health, wellness, and fitness options to individuals with chronic medical conditions, chronic pain, or a past injury(s) with residual musculoskeletal impairment. These are people whose needs are often not adequately met by the fitness industry.

It is also ideal for those who are just de-conditioned or lack experience with exercise. Our typical client is approximately mid-40's or older. Regardless of your exercise experience, health clubs can be intimidating or even unfriendly. Our staff provides a welcoming environment to ensure that you feel confident you can improve and/or maintain your health.

Exercise as Medicine

As our population ages, more and more of us find ourselves living in a body with some sort of chronic condition. Medications and surgery can often prolong life in miraculous ways. Conditions such as cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and arthritis are all disorders that people will quite often live with for a normal lifespan. But chronic conditions and pain can sap an individual of the strength and energy necessary to participate in life in the ways that they would like. Furthermore, lack of exercise and inactivity is often a contributing factor to many chronic disorders.

Health clubs are great for the healthy population and those who know how to exercise. Active Life & Sports Physical Therapy and Fitness Center was developed to meet the specialized needs of those with chronic conditions. We seek to enhance quality of life through cost effective health solutions and bridge the gap between "staying alive" and "living life" with a health condition.
