Active Life & Sports is thrilled to have Courtney Ferreira, MS, RD, on our team. As a registered dietitian, Courtney takes the approach that all foods can fit into the diet. Regardless of your preferences or medical history Courtney can help you improve the quality of your food intake without eliminating the foods you love! If you struggle with body image, are frequently on diets, or find yourself making certain foods off limits then get in touch. Courtney helps her clients find mindfulness, improve body acceptance, and confidence in themselves and their food choices.

Courtney Ferreira is a registered dietitian nutritionist with a master’s degree in Human Nutrition. She completed her undergraduate degree, graduate degree, and research at the University of Delaware. She completed her dietitian training at University of Maryland Medical center. Courtney has experience working with clients through the lifespan (pediatrics through geriatrics). She specializes in building healthy minds and bodies and ditching the diet. She has extensive media experience and has been featured in over a dozen television segments in the DMV area.
